Terri grew up on a cattle farm, also with horses. She has shown, judged, taught and worked for numerous trainers and barns through out Alberta and England. Terri rides Western and English and has worked cattle on horseback on her family's cattle farm.
Brenda and Terri ride extensively in the mountains, often packing out for days with the un-broke colts they are training. They typically ride one horse and lead 8 to 10 other horses behind them.
"The mountains have been our best teacher for survival and the horses have been our best teacher for the importance of the equine-human relationship. We have seen a lot of things go right and wrong on the trail, and learned from that. We pride ourselves on our training abilities - we take training to a level most people don’t experience, because we ride to remote places where you have to depend on the partership with your horse for your survival."
Terri and Brenda are constantly expanding their training skills and their program, by including the horses in events they are involved in. For example: ranch roping, pasture roping, penning, sorting, reining and barrel racing.
